Bauhaus Inspired Buildings

ANU
ISO 80, f 4.2, 1/100

Bauhaus architects rejected details such as cornices, eaves, and decorative details. They wanted to use principles of Classical architecture in their purest form: without ornamentation of any kind.

Bauhaus buildings have flat roofs, smooth facades, and cubic shapes. Colors are white, gray, beige, or black. Floor plans are open and furniture is functional. You can see the structure of the buildings from the outside of many Bauhaus inspired buildings.
